Courtney Simpson is a take-charge, decisive, results-focused family nurse practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in confidently leading care team members in sustaining high standards in patient-centered nursing care. Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Harding University in 2005 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2017. Courtney is widely recognized as an innovative thoughtful leader in nursing in critical care settings in the ICU, ER and Cardiac Cath Lab. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified instructor for breakthroughs in Patient Safety. Courtney now focuses on the assessment, diagnoses and treatment plan of patients ranging from neonate to geriatric. In her free time, Courtney spends time volunteering within in her community and spending quality time with her family.
