The Pulse Difference

Why Pulse?

At Pulse Healthcare System, we're not just treating symptoms, we're providing comprehensive care that addresses your whole health picture. We believe in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, not a series of disconnected appointments.

Our specialists in Primary Care, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Pain Management, and Podiatry were selected to manage and treat complex chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. When your cardiologist, nephrologist, and endocrinologist can see the same chart and talk to each other, you stop repeating your story and start making progress.

We've built an environment that combines advanced treatment with a patient-first philosophy. From our Surgery Center to our Wound Care Center, we provide current diagnostics and care aimed at better outcomes, guided by competence, empathy, and urgency.

The Team You Need. The Results You Want.

  • One connected teamYour specialists coordinate directly instead of working in isolation.
  • Diagnostics on siteCT, ultrasound, stress testing, and EKG without a separate trip.
  • Root-cause focusWe work to find what's driving your condition, not just quiet the symptom.
  • Care that follows youFrom primary care through surgery and wound healing, in one system.

Paradise™ RDN Procedure

Take Control of Uncontrolled Hypertension

Struggling with high blood pressure that won't improve, even on multiple medications? Renal denervation is a minimally invasive, outpatient option worth discussing.

How the procedure works

Using the Recor Paradise™ Ultrasound Renal Denervation System, we target overactive nerve signals in the renal arteries to address high blood pressure at its source. It is performed at the Center for Cardiovascular Excellence in The Woodlands, which is ACHC-accredited with private recovery areas and advanced operating rooms. Learn about the Center.

What patients may gain
  • Targeted treatment. Addresses high blood pressure at its source when traditional approaches have not been enough.

  • Possible medication reduction. Many patients experience a meaningful drop in blood pressure, which may reduce the need for daily medications. Results vary from person to person.

  • Outpatient recovery. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, it is performed on an outpatient basis and most patients go home the same day.

Your care team

Deciding whether renal denervation is right for you is made with expert guidance. Our specialists work closely with your existing nephrologist and cardiologist to build a plan around your specific health needs.

Quick eligibility self-check

  • Are you currently taking three or more blood pressure medications?
  • Is your blood pressure still above your doctor's target?
  • Have you already tried lifestyle changes?

This is not a medical assessment. Only a specialist evaluation can determine eligibility.

Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE)

Regain Your Mobility,
Reclaim Your Life

Persistent knee pain from osteoarthritis that hasn't responded to medication or physical therapy? GAE targets the source of the pain, without major surgery.

GAE is for patients seeking a safe, effective, and less invasive alternative to knee replacement surgery.

What to expect

  1. Consultation

A specialist reviews your imaging and history to determine whether GAE is appropriate for you.

  2. The procedure

Typically 1 to 2 hours, using advanced imaging to target the vessels causing inflammation.

  3. Same-day home

Patients can usually go home the same day.

  4. Back to moving

Most patients resume normal activities within a few days.

Call (346) 794-0001

If you haven't found relief with medication or physical therapy, GAE could be worth a conversation. Contact us to schedule your consultation and find out whether it's the right choice for you.

Electrophysiology (EP)

Restoring Your Heart's Rhythm

When the heart's electrical system misfires, it can cause rhythms that are too fast, too slow, or irregular. Our electrophysiology program diagnoses the source and offers catheter-based and device-based treatments to help your heart beat steadily again.

  • Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib)
  • Atrial Flutter
  • Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT)
  • Ventricular Tachycardia
  • Bradycardia (slow heartbeat)
Electrophysiology lab for heart rhythm procedures at Pulse Healthcare System

What to expect

  1. Evaluation

An electrophysiology study and rhythm monitoring help your care team pinpoint the source of the arrhythmia.

  2. Personalized plan

We build a treatment plan around your specific rhythm, symptoms, and overall heart health.

  3. The procedure

Most EP procedures are catheter-based and minimally invasive, performed in a dedicated EP lab.

  4. Ongoing rhythm care

Follow-up monitoring and device checks keep your treatment on track for the long term.

Call (346) 794-0001

A consultation with our cardiology team is the first step in determining whether an EP procedure is right for you.
